Description
A public sector organization is looking for an experienced IT project manager to lead the e-Inbox IT initiative as part of the nationwide KONSENS program. The project's goal is to digitize public administration by efficiently managing the overall project and its subprojects across multiple federal states. This includes reporting, scheduling, and documentation.
The role requires close collaboration with various stakeholders, the application of KONSENS processes and technologies, and the use of project management tools such as microTOOL in-STEP, Confluence, and Jira.
Main tasks:
- Defining project goals and creating the project plan
- Managing information flow and overseeing subprojects (across federal states)
- Preparing project reports and comprehensive project documentation
- Organizing and moderating meetings, including invitations, scheduling, and minute-taking
- Monitoring deadlines and tracking schedules
- Collecting and maintaining data in project management tools, especially microTOOL in-STEP
- Maintaining project content in Confluence and Jira
- Applying and implementing KONSENS processes and technologies
Requirements
- Completed degree (e.g., business administration, computer science, natural sciences) or equivalent qualification
- At least 5 years of experience in IT project work and leading software development projects
- At least 2 completed projects in the public sector within the last 5 years
- At least 2 completed projects in the KONSENS environment within the last 7 years
- 2–4 years of experience in classical or agile project management
- Experience in creating extensive concepts and technical documentation
- Knowledge of project management tools such as microTOOL in-STEP
- Experience using Confluence and Jira
- Basic software technology knowledge
- Excellent German skills (at least C1 level) in speaking and writing
