Description
An organization is looking for support from a Safety and Health Protection Coordinator (SiGeKo) and Safety Specialist (SiFa) for a construction project in Hamburg. The project’s goal is to ensure compliance with all relevant safety and health regulations on the construction site and to minimize risks and hazards.
The role includes coordinating and implementing safety measures, advising site and project management, and creating and updating safety plans. The focus is on the practical application of safety concepts and continuously improving safety standards on the site.
Requirements
- Degree in engineering, master craftsman, state-certified technician, or equivalent qualification.
- Proof of specialized training in occupational safety and health.
- Several years’ experience coordinating safety and health measures on construction sites.
- Hands-on construction site experience and knowledge of project management.
- Solid knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and standards in occupational safety.
- Training or further education as a Safety Specialist (SiFa) or equivalent qualifications.
- Experience in technical safety consulting and support on construction sites.
- Ability to conduct accident analyses and risk management.
- Relevant certificates, e.g., first aid or fire protection.
- Experience handling complex, power plant–type projects.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken.
