Description
A company is looking for support from a Safety and Health Protection Coordinator (SiGeKo) and a Safety Specialist (SiFa) for a construction project in Hamburg. The goal of the project is to ensure compliance with all relevant safety and health regulations on the construction site and to minimize risks and hazards.
The role includes coordinating and implementing safety measures, advising site and project management, and creating and updating safety plans. The focus is on the practical execution of safety concepts and the continuous improvement of safety standards on the site.
Requirements
- Degree in engineering, master craftsman certificate, state-certified technician or comparable qualification.
- Proof of specialized training in occupational safety and health.
- Several years of experience coordinating safety and health protection measures on construction sites.
- Hands-on site experience and project management skills.
- Solid knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and standards in occupational safety.
- Training or further education as a Safety Specialist (SiFa) or equivalent qualifications.
- Experience in providing safety advice and support on construction sites.
- Ability to conduct accident analyses and risk management.
- Relevant certificates, e.g. first aid or fire protection.
- Experience handling complex power plant–type projects.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken.
