Description
A company in the energy supply sector is looking for an experienced interim project manager (m/f/d) for high-voltage overhead line construction projects. The goal is to support ongoing projects through operational project control, site coordination, and on-site project execution. The role requires a hands-on personality with a high willingness to travel and solid experience in the infrastructure or energy sector.
- Control and lead high-voltage overhead line projects
- Coordinate construction sites and assembly teams on site
- Monitor budget, quality, and deadlines
- Manage subcontractors and service providers
- Ensure health and safety on construction sites
- Coordinate with customers, site management, and internal specialist departments
- Support with calculations, offers, and invoicing
- Material, machine, and resource planning
- Support the projects through to successful handover to the customer
- Claim, change order, and contract management (VOB/BGB)
Requirements
Must Have:
- Several years of experience as a project manager in construction or infrastructure
- Ideally experience in high-voltage or overhead line construction
- Knowledge in managing complex construction projects
- Experience with budget, schedule, and quality responsibility
- Knowledge of VOB and BGB contract law
- Experience in managing subcontractors and assembly teams
- High willingness to travel and regular presence on site
- Technical background (civil engineering, electrical engineering, or comparable technical training)
- Hands-on mindset and independent way of working
- Class B driving license
- Very good German skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience with turn-key/EPC projects
- Experience in the energy supply or grid operator environment
- Knowledge of claim and change order management
- Experience in the refurbishment and maintenance of overhead lines
- SAP/ERP knowledge
- Good English skills
- Experience in critical project phases or restructuring projects
- Leading larger project teams or several parallel construction sites
