Description
A company in the energy supply sector is looking for an experienced interim project manager (m/f/d) for high-voltage overhead line construction projects. The goal is to support ongoing projects through operational project management, site coordination and on-site project execution. The role requires a hands-on personality with high willingness to travel and solid experience in the infrastructure or energy sector.
- Manage and lead high-voltage overhead line projects
- Coordinate site operations and installation teams on site
- Monitor budget, quality and schedules
- Manage subcontractors and service providers
- Ensure safety on construction sites
- Liaise with clients, site management and internal departments
- Support costing, proposals and billing
- Handle materials, machinery and resource scheduling
- Oversee projects through to successful handover to the client
- Claims, variations and contract management (VOB/BGB)
Requirements
Must Have:
- Several years of experience as a project manager in the construction or infrastructure sector
- Ideally experience in high-voltage or overhead line construction
- Knowledge of managing complex site projects
- Experience with budget, schedule and quality responsibility
- Knowledge of VOB and BGB contract law
- Experience managing subcontractors and installation teams
- High willingness to travel and strong site presence
- Technical background (civil engineering, electrical engineering or similar technical training)
- Hands-on mentality and independent working style
- Driving license class B
- Very good German skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience with turn-key/EPC projects
- Experience in the energy supply or grid operator environment
- Knowledge of claims and variation management
- Experience in renovation and maintenance of overhead lines
- SAP/ERP knowledge
- Good English skills
- Experience in critical project phases or restructuring projects
- Leading larger project teams or multiple sites in parallel
