Description
A company in the energy supply sector is looking for an experienced interim project manager (m/f/d) for high-voltage overhead line construction projects. The goal is to support ongoing projects through operational project control, site coordination and project execution on site. The role requires a hands-on personality with a high willingness to travel and solid experience in the infrastructure or energy sector.
- Managing and leading high-voltage overhead line projects
- Coordinating construction sites and assembly teams on site
- Monitoring budget, quality and schedules
- Managing subcontractors and service providers
- Ensuring safety on construction sites
- Liaising with clients, site management and internal departments
- Supporting cost estimates, proposals and invoicing
- Disposing of materials, machinery and resources
- Guiding projects through to successful handover to the client
- Claim, change order and contract management (VOB/BGB)
Requirements
Must Have:
- Several years of experience as a project manager in the construction or infrastructure sector
- Ideally experience in high-voltage or overhead line construction
- Knowledge of managing complex construction site projects
- Experience with budget, schedule and quality responsibility
- Knowledge of VOB and BGB contract law
- Experience managing subcontractors and assembly teams
- High willingness to travel and on-site presence
- Technical background (civil engineering, electrical engineering or equivalent technical training)
- Hands-on mentality and independent working style
- Driving license class B
- Excellent German language skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience with turn-key/EPC projects
- Experience in the energy supply or grid operator environment
- Knowledge of claim and change order management
- Experience in maintenance and refurbishment of overhead lines
- SAP/ERP knowledge
- Good English skills
- Experience in critical project phases or restructuring projects
- Leading larger project teams or multiple parallel sites
