Description
A company in the energy supply sector is looking for an experienced interim project manager (m/f/d) for high-voltage overhead line construction projects. The goal is to support ongoing projects through operational project control, site coordination, and on-site project execution. The role requires a hands-on personality with a high willingness to travel and solid experience in the infrastructure or energy environment.
- Management and leadership of high-voltage overhead line projects
- Coordination of construction sites and assembly teams on site
- Monitoring of budget, quality, and deadlines
- Management of subcontractors and service providers
- Ensuring occupational safety on the construction sites
- Coordination with customers, site management, and internal departments
- Support with calculations, offers, and invoicing
- Material, machine, and resource scheduling
- Support of the projects until successful handover to the customer
- Claim, variation order, and contract management (VOB/BGB)
Requirements
Must Have:
- Several years of experience as a project manager in the construction or infrastructure environment
- Ideally experience in high-voltage or overhead line construction
- Knowledge in managing complex construction site projects
- Experience with budget, schedule, and quality responsibility
- Knowledge of VOB and BGB contract law
- Experience in managing subcontractors and assembly teams
- High willingness to travel and presence on construction sites
- Technical background (civil engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable technical education)
- Hands-on mentality and independent way of working
- Driver’s license class B
- Very good German skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience with turn-key/EPC projects
- Experience in the energy supply or grid operator environment
- Knowledge of claim and variation order management
- Experience in the refurbishment and maintenance of overhead lines
- SAP/ERP knowledge
- Good English skills
- Experience in critical project phases or restructuring projects
- Leading larger project teams or several parallel construction sites
