Description
A company is looking for an experienced Senior SAP S/4HANA Finance Consultant with a strong mix of solution architecture expertise and hands-on configuration skills. The consultant will support a global SAP S/4HANA template program, driving template design, localization activities, and international rollouts across multiple countries and legal entities.
The ideal candidate has deep expertise in SAP FI/CO, S/4HANA Finance, CO-PS, Parallel Accounting, ledger architecture, account determination, and international finance processes. The role combines strategic solution design with workshop facilitation, requirements analysis, documentation, and detailed SAP configuration.
- Design and implement global SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling templates.
- Standardize finance processes across countries and legal entities.
- Lead fit-to-standard workshops and solution design discussions with stakeholders.
- Translate business and legal requirements into scalable SAP solutions.
- Hands-on customizing in General Ledger (FI-GL), Accounts Payable (FI-AP), Accounts Receivable (FI-AR), Asset Accounting (FI-AA), Cost Center Accounting (CO-CCA), Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, and Project Controlling (CO-PS).
- Expertise in Universal Journal (ACDOCA), Parallel Accounting and ledgers, accounting principles, document splitting, intercompany processes, financial closing, automatic account determination, and account mapping.
- Ensure compliance with local accounting and reporting requirements during international rollouts.
- Support testing, cutover, hypercare, and post-go-live activities.
- Ensure seamless integration between FI/CO and MM (Procure-to-Pay) as well as SD (Order-to-Cash).
- Support financial data migration and reconciliation activities during S/4HANA transformation programs.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in SAP Finance consulting.
- Extensive experience in SAP FI/CO implementations and SAP S/4HANA Finance projects.
- Proven experience in international template rollout programs.
- Ability to work both as Lead Consultant / Solution Architect and as a hands-on FI/CO configuration expert.
- Strong stakeholder management across business and IT functions.
- Experience in harmonizing finance processes and global transformation initiatives.
- Project experience with one or more of the following accounting frameworks: French GAAP (PCG), Italian GAAP (OIC standards), or Turkish TFRS/TAS.
- Preferred: experience with Group Reporting or consolidation solutions.
- Solid understanding of audit, compliance, and statutory reporting requirements.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong workshop facilitation skills.
- Analytical and solution-oriented mindset.
- Independent working style in international environments.
- Structured, reliable, and detail-oriented approach to delivery.
