Description

A company that optimizes ground handling processes at commercial airports is looking for an experienced Frontend Developer. The company’s software supports tens of thousands of employees at airports worldwide every day and ensures efficient planning and optimal use of resources. The goal is to improve ground handling through modular, cloud-native web applications while using modern web architectures and micro-frontends.

The role includes the design and development of scalable web applications, architecture decisions, integration into cloud pipelines, and taking on operational responsibility in a DevOps environment. The use of unit and integration tests as well as AI tools is an integral part of the day-to-day work. The developer will work closely with colleagues from the aviation business area, both remotely and on site, and act as a sparring partner for product management and stakeholders. Optionally, there is the opportunity to further develop the web backend written in C#/.NET.

  • Design and development of modular, cloud-native web applications with micro-frontends.
  • Making architecture decisions and developing sustainable best practices.
  • Integrating developments into cloud pipelines and taking on operational responsibility.
  • Working with colleagues from the aviation business area and supporting product management and stakeholders.
  • Carrying out unit and integration tests as well as using AI tools.
  • Optional: Further development of the web backend in C#/.NET.

Requirements

  • Several years of professional experience (approx. 5+ years) in developing modern web applications.

  • Very good knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3, as well as experience with frontend frameworks such as Vue.js or React.

  • Experience in designing and implementing scalable web architectures, ideally with micro-frontends.

  • Solid knowledge of modern architecture approaches such as API gateways, backend-for-frontend, and component-based development.

  • Experience with cloud-native applications, CI/CD pipelines, and operating business-critical software solutions.

  • Ability to make technical decisions and turn complex requirements into sustainable solutions.

  • Fluent English skills as well as very good German skills (at least B2).

  • Knowledge of software development with Java or C# and .NET, as well as ASP.NET Core.

  • Experience developing GraphQL APIs in .NET.
