Description

A company is looking for an experienced architect for a subproject as part of the modernization of a core banking solution. The goal is the re-engineering of a Java-based application for loan processing. The architect will work independently in an external team that works remotely, with occasional assignments in Frankfurt am Main.

  • Development and implementation of a modern architecture for the application
  • Ensuring security by design and secure coding
  • Integration of cloud and migration solutions
  • Support with test automation and DevOps processes
  • Collaboration with the team on implementing microservices and REST APIs

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of architecture experience in the banking environment
  • Very strong Java and full-stack skills
  • Knowledge of Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs
  • Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and test automation
  • Cloud and migration know-how
  • Ideally iSAQB or a comparable architecture certification
  • Experience with lending business, credit processes, or other banking topics is an advantage
