5G Rollout Management (m/f/d)

As part of the "5G Network Expansion" project and the related fiber-optic expansion, the client is developing numerous radio sites. At these sites, external construction companies erect radio masts. In this context, the contractor is exclusively responsible for project management for a clearly defined and pre-determined area of sites.

Objective The process steps should be defined more clearly in order to maximize the delivery performance of 1&1 implementation partners.

As part of this project, the contractor will provide the following services:

• Ensuring the planned and timely implementation of sites for the rollout of 5G sites.
• Independent planning, management and coordination of the entire site value chain (from planning approval by 1u1 and its implementation partners)
• Independent, continuous review of the project progress achieved by the commissioned implementation partners based on the milestones for the assigned sites.
• Prioritization of the 5G sites to be delivered based on the expected completion of the fiber-optic connections and targeted project management accordingly, in order to ensure the best possible overlap between fiber-optic delivery and 5G delivery at the sites to be expanded.
• Increasing partner delivery reliability by initiating and implementing focused partner management.
• Preparing analyses of project progress regarding delays and deriving recommendations for action to further develop the rollout management methodology with regard to the project objectives to be achieved.
• Defining, coordinating and initiating measures to address delays that have occurred.
• Defining and implementing measures for the continuous further development of the 5G site rollout.

• Professional experience in project management and reporting know-how
• Professional experience with telecommunications technology and/or in related fields
• Technical support for suppliers and subcontractors
• Knowledge of processes in telecommunications technology
• Basic commercial and business administration understanding
• Basic knowledge of project management tools and good knowledge of Excel
• Presentation and communication skills
• German and English, both written and spoken.
