Description
A company is seeking a skilled Data & AI Engineer to develop and maintain robust data pipelines and AI solutions that support their E-Commerce and Omnichannel business. The role involves working on demand and revenue forecasts, transitioning prototypes into stable operations, and creating impactful AI applications.
- Design and develop ETL/ELT pipelines to integrate data from various systems into a Lakehouse.
- Create and manage data models and layers in the Lakehouse, ensuring data quality and governance.
- Build and enhance a Feature Store for consistent and reusable features across teams.
- Develop Data Products with clear ownership and standards for independent use by departments.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists to deploy and monitor Machine Learning models in production.
- Develop Agentic-AI solutions like AI Agents and RAG applications to support business operations.
- Analyze requirements with departments and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Automate deployment and operations using CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code.
- Stay updated on new technologies in the Data and AI domain and assess their value for the company.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or equivalent qualification.
- Several years of practical experience in Data Engineering, including ETL/ELT processes and Lakehouse architectures.
- Experience in building Feature Stores and familiarity with Data Products or Data Mesh concepts.
- Proven experience in deploying and operating Machine Learning models in production.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and familiarity with Spark/PySpark.
- Strong understanding of scalable, secure, and maintainable system architectures, APIs, CI/CD, and automation.
- Structured work approach, clear communication, and eagerness to learn new technologies.
- Experience in developing Agentic-AI solutions, such as AI Agents, RAG systems, and LLM orchestration.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, such as Data Factory, Azure OpenAI, and AI Search.
- Experience with Databricks, such as Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and MLflow.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform.
- Background in E-Commerce or retail.
