Description
A company is looking for an experienced freelancer to independently lead a strategic outsourcing, sell-and-lease, carve-out, or transformation project. The goal is to develop and implement a target operating model, manage all project stakeholders, and successfully transition into business-as-usual operations. The position reports directly to the management board or executive board.
- Program and project management of complex transformation initiatives
- Development of target vision, roadmap, and business case
- Management of service providers, consultants, and internal stakeholders
- Management of risks, dependencies, and budget
- Preparation of management and steering committee decisions
- Facilitation of workshops and decision-making sessions
- Reporting at management and executive board level
- Support for transition, governance, and change management
Requirements
- Proven track record of successfully completing several outsourcing, carve-out, PMI, sell-and-lease, or restructuring projects
- At least 10 years of experience in program or project management roles
- Experience in complex corporate or mid-sized company structures
- Proven success in cost optimization and organizational change
- Strong stakeholder management skills up to C-level
- High level of expertise in transformation, governance, and PMO
- Ideally, a background as an Interim Manager, Program Manager, CIO, COO, or Transformation Lead
- Experience with shared services, managed services, IT outsourcing, or centralized service organizations
- Experience in M&A, carve-out, or private equity environments
- Strong execution skills
- Structured and analytical approach to work
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Confident presence at executive level
- Hands-on mentality and results orientation
