Description
A company is looking for an experienced Backend Developer to support the development and optimization of cloud- and AI-native applications in the aviation field. The "Future Products, Turn.AI" team consists of experts in frontend, AI, and DevOps and needs support in the backend area. The company has been developing software systems since 1969 to improve decision-making in industry, logistics, and financial services. In the Aviation business area, the systems optimize ground handling processes at commercial airports to increase efficiency and reduce costs caused by delays.
- Development and optimization of cloud- and AI-native applications.
- Responsibility for deployment, operation, and quality assurance of the systems within the team.
- Helping shape the product development process from concept to development.
- Writing unit and integration tests.
- Smart use of AI tools.
- Integration of work results into cloud pipelines.
- Taking on operational responsibility in the spirit of DevOps.
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in backend development.
- Knowledge of Python.
- Experience with Kubernetes or similar container orchestration systems.
- Knowledge of GitHub Pipelines or similar CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of Domain Driven Design.
- Language skills: German or English at native level, the other language at B1/B2 level.
- Experience with Dell hardware and Windows operating systems.
