Description
A company is looking for an interim Senior Designer to support their Dutch branch, Europe’s leading online broker, during a maternity leave. The role will cover a period of six months, starting on 19 October 2026, with a four-week handover period until 13 November 2026. This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week, with a hybrid work setup (2 days onsite in Amsterdam and 3 days remote).
The Senior Designer will play a key role in enhancing the company’s brand and visual identity, focusing on web and landing page design, accessibility, and stakeholder collaboration. The role involves working closely with developers, performance marketers, and external agencies to deliver high-quality design solutions.
- Website: Conduct page-by-page visual improvements and accessibility checks in collaboration with developers
- Email design: Create layouts, banners, and images for mass email campaigns.
- Paid ads: Design Google and social media ads, with most production handled by an external agency and some in-house.
- Illustrations: Develop new illustrations within the existing illustration system, ensuring brand cohesion.
- Internal branding: Handle occasional internal branding requests, such as those from HR.
- Collaboration: Work with designers based in Frankfurt, the development team in Romania, performance marketers, and external agencies.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a brand and visual designer, with expertise in web and landing page design.
- Solid working knowledge of accessibility standards.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, particularly with developers, performance marketers, and agencies.
- Fluency in English; Dutch is an additional advantage.
