Description

A company is looking for a Model-Based Design (MBD) Consultant to support a comprehensive project aimed at enhancing development workflows, implementing CI processes, and providing ongoing advisory services. The project is divided into six key packages, each focusing on specific aspects of process analysis, implementation, and continuous improvement.

The consultant will play a pivotal role in analyzing current workflows, designing tailored CI processes, implementing them within the Simulink Process Advisor, and providing guidance on CI integration and best practices. The role also includes ongoing advisory support to ensure the client’s development environment evolves effectively.

  • Conduct regular status meetings, including kickoff and project review sessions.
  • Analyze current development workflows, version control practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Design and implement tailored CI processes within the Simulink Process Advisor.
  • Validate workflows through testing and provide user documentation.
  • Provide remote support for CI server setup and integration.
  • Offer ongoing advisory services to improve workflows and CI practices.
  • Act as a sparring partner for DevOps-related questions and decisions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Model-Based Design (MBD) and CI/CD workflows.
  • Expertise in tools like MATLAB/Simulink, Simulink Process Advisor, and version control systems (Git/SVN).
  • Familiarity with CI tools and environments, particularly Azure DevOps.
  • Strong understanding of YAML configuration and automation strategies.
  • Ability to analyze workflows, identify inefficiencies, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication skills for conducting workshops, advisory sessions, and knowledge transfer.
  • Availability to work remotely and collaborate with stakeholders across different time zones.
