Description

A fast-growing company specializing in importing and scaling high-quality Korean skincare and cosmetic brands in Europe is looking for a Financial Accountant (m/f/d). The company is a trusted partner for K-beauty brands entering European markets, combining ground-breaking Korean beauty innovations with European consumer needs.

The project's goal is to ensure proper accounting and optimize accounting processes to support the company's growth.

Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to HGB
Independent management of ongoing financial accounting
Reconciliation and maintenance of general and subsidiary ledgers
Valuation of provisions, prepaid expenses and fixed assets
Participation in tax-related matters in collaboration with tax advisors and auditors
Preparation of monthly evaluations, reports and analyses
Ensuring proper accounting using DATEV
Optimization and further development of accounting processes

Requirements

Successfully completed training as a Certified Accountant (IHK) or equivalent qualification
Several years of professional experience in accounting
In-depth knowledge of the German Commercial Code (HGB)
Very good user skills in DATEV (especially financial accounting)
Confident use of MS Excel
Structured, independent and meticulous work style
Team player, reliable and responsible
