Description
A fast-growing company specializing in importing and scaling high-quality Korean skincare and cosmetic brands in Europe is looking for a Financial Accountant (m/f/d). The company is a trusted partner for K-beauty brands entering European markets, combining ground-breaking Korean beauty innovations with European consumer needs.
The project's goal is to ensure proper accounting and optimize accounting processes to support the company's growth.
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to HGB
- Independent management of ongoing financial accounting
- Reconciliation and maintenance of general and subsidiary ledgers
- Valuation of provisions, prepaid expenses and fixed assets
- Participation in tax-related matters in collaboration with tax advisors and auditors
- Preparation of monthly evaluations, reports and analyses
- Ensuring proper accounting using DATEV
- Optimization and further development of accounting processes
Requirements
- Successfully completed training as a Certified Accountant (IHK) or equivalent qualification
- Several years of professional experience in accounting
- In-depth knowledge of the German Commercial Code (HGB)
- Very good user skills in DATEV (especially financial accounting)
- Confident use of MS Excel
- Structured, independent and meticulous work style
- Team player, reliable and responsible
