Description
The company is in a phase with an increased demand for highly specialized expertise in group taxation. The internal tax processes are to be reviewed, further developed and realigned in selected areas. There are also requirements to optimize existing structures, to review the Tax Compliance Management System, and to prepare for upcoming audits and strategic decisions.
The goal of the project is to analyze, further develop and align the company's tax-relevant structures, processes and control mechanisms in accordance with legal requirements and strategic business objectives. The results should enable the company to make tax processes more efficient and transparent and to provide a solid foundation for future tax decisions and audits.
Services
- Analysis of existing tax processes and structures in the company, including evaluation of potential optimization areas.
- Development of professional recommendations for tax strategies and the alignment of relevant tax procedures within the company.
- Development of concepts for further enhancing the Tax Compliance Management System, including identification of suitable control mechanisms and documentation requirements.
- Preparation of technical decision-making materials for senior management on tax issues, particularly for complex business decisions with tax relevance.
- Creation of an objective assessment to prepare for planned or ongoing tax audits, as well as coordination of approaches with external consulting partners.
- Professional review of tax calculations and content such as tax returns or year-end financial statement elements.
Requirements
- Completed degree in business administration, economics, or law with a focus on tax or comparable qualification
- At least 10 years of professional experience in taxation, including several years in a leadership position within a group company
- Passed the tax advisor exam, preferably with a background in a tax firm
- Solid knowledge of national and international tax law
- Experience working with tax authorities and external advisors
