The company is going through a phase with an increased demand for highly specialized expertise in corporate taxes. The internal tax processes should be reviewed, further developed and realigned in selected areas. There are also requirements to optimize existing structures, review the tax compliance management system, and prepare for upcoming audits and strategic decisions.

The goal of the project is to analyze, further develop, and align the company's tax-related structures, processes, and control mechanisms in accordance with legal requirements and strategic business objectives. The results should enable the company to make tax processes more efficient and transparent and ensure a solid foundation for future tax decisions and audits.

Services

• Analysis of the company's existing tax processes and structures, including evaluation of potential optimization areas.
• Development of professional recommendations for tax strategies and the alignment of relevant tax procedures within the company.
• Preparation of concepts to further develop the tax compliance management system, including identifying suitable control mechanisms and documentation requirements.
• Preparation of technical decision-making materials for management on tax issues, especially for complex business decisions with tax implications.
• Creation of an objective assessment to prepare for planned or ongoing tax audits and coordination of approaches with external consulting partners.
• Professional review of tax calculations and documents such as tax returns or year-end financial statement items.

• University degree in business administration, economics or law with a focus on tax or a comparable qualification
• At least 10 years of professional experience in taxation, several of which in a leadership role within a group company
• Passed tax advisor exam, preferably with law firm background
• Solid knowledge of national and international tax law
• Experience working with tax authorities and external advisors
