Description
A company in the automotive supplier industry is looking for an experienced Infor AS consultant to support the team in the development and optimization of ERP functionalities. The project aims to ensure system stability and functionality in the long term and to continuously optimize ERP processes.
The consultant will work closely with the specialist departments to implement system-side requirements and will take on an advisory and supportive role. The assignment is ideally 50% remote and 50% on-site near Schweinfurt, with at least one on-site visit per month required.
- Conceiving, developing, and optimizing ERP functionalities while considering legal and organizational requirements
- Analyzing and handling system disruptions and identifying root causes
- Supporting specialist departments through customizing and implementing ERP solutions
- Taking over second-level support for technical issues
- Developing, administering, and further developing interfaces as well as maintaining existing integrations
- Conducting and evaluating statistical analyses to monitor system functionality
- Performing tests and handing over new processes to internal contacts
- Continuously accompanying and supporting the optimization of ongoing ERP processes
Requirements
- Good to very good knowledge of working with Infor AS / IBM AS/400 (no programming skills required)
- Experience in error analysis, troubleshooting, and technical support (second level)
- Knowledge of interfaces, data integrations, and cross-system processes
- Basic understanding of legal, organizational, and audit-relevant requirements for IT systems
- Analytical and structured way of working, with the ability to document complex issues clearly
- Experience in testing systems and processes as well as collaborating with specialist departments
- High problem-solving skills, sense of responsibility, and quality orientation
- Ability to work in a team, as well as independently and reliably
- Language skills: German (fluent/negotiation-level), English (good knowledge desirable)
