Description
A company in the automotive supplier industry is looking for an experienced Infor AS Consultant to support the team in developing and optimizing ERP functionalities. The goal of the project is to ensure long-term system stability and functionality and to continuously improve ERP processes.
The consultant will work closely with the business departments to implement system requirements and take on an advisory and support role. The assignment is ideally 50% remote and 50% on-site near Schweinfurt, with at least one on-site visit per month required.
- Design, development, and optimization of ERP functionalities taking into account legal and organizational requirements
- Analysis and resolution of system disruptions and identification of root causes
- Support of business departments through customizing and implementation of ERP solutions
- Provision of second-level support for technical inquiries
- Development, administration, and enhancement of interfaces as well as maintenance of existing integrations
- Execution and evaluation of statistical analyses to monitor system functionality
- Conducting tests and handing over new processes to internal contacts
- Ongoing support and assistance in optimizing existing ERP processes
Requirements
- Good to very good experience working with Infor AS / IBM AS/400 (no programming skills required)
- Experience in error analysis, troubleshooting, and technical support (second level)
- Knowledge of interfaces, data integrations, and cross-system processes
- Basic understanding of legal, organizational, and audit-relevant requirements for IT systems
- Analytical and structured approach to work with the ability to clearly document complex issues
- Experience testing systems and processes as well as collaborating with business departments
- Strong problem-solving skills, sense of responsibility, and quality orientation
- Team player with an independent and reliable work style
- Language skills: German (fluent/business level), English (good level desirable)
