Description
A company in the automotive supplier industry is looking for an experienced Infor AS Consultant to support the team in further developing and optimizing ERP functionalities. The project's goal is to ensure system stability and functionality in the long run and to continuously optimize ERP processes.
The consultant will work closely with the business units to implement system-side requirements, taking on a consulting and supporting role. The assignment is ideally 50% remote and 50% on-site near Schweinfurt, with at least one on-site visit per month required.
- Designing, further developing, and optimizing ERP functionalities, taking into account legal and organizational requirements
- Analyzing and resolving system errors, and identifying root causes
- Supporting business units through customizing and implementing ERP solutions
- Providing second-level support for technical issues
- Developing, administering, and enhancing interfaces, and maintaining existing integrations
- Conducting and evaluating statistical analyses to monitor system functionality
- Performing tests and handing over new processes to internal stakeholders
- Continuously supporting and assisting in optimizing ongoing ERP processes
Requirements
- Good to very good experience working with Infor AS / IBM AS/400 (no programming skills required)
- Experience in error analysis, troubleshooting, and technical support (second level)
- Knowledge of interfaces, data integrations, and cross-system processes
- Basic understanding of legal, organizational, and audit-relevant requirements for IT systems
- Analytical and structured working style, with the ability to clearly document complex issues
- Experience in testing systems and processes and collaborating with business units
- Strong problem-solving skills, responsibility, and quality orientation
- Team player with an independent and reliable working approach
- Language skills: German (fluent/business fluent), English (good knowledge preferred)
