Description
A company is looking for an experienced Java IT Architect for a project at a development bank with a duration of five months. The project's goal is to develop and optimize the IT architecture of operational and administrative systems and to analyze and implement business requirements into the bank's IT architecture.
- Development of the IT architecture for operational and administrative systems.
- Conducting impact analyses of business requirements on the IT architecture.
- Monitoring and analyzing portfolio changes and preparing them for management decisions.
- Creating IT concepts and performing migration tasks.
- Using and evaluating AI plugins to support software development.
- Ensuring security aspects in software development (secure coding, authentication, encryption).
- Documenting the architecture and interfaces.
Requirements
- University degree in business administration, economics, mathematics, computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification.
- At least 7 years of experience in architecture development for banks, ideally in heterogeneous IT landscapes.
- At least 5 years of project experience in Java-based development projects as a full-stack Java developer.
- Very good knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, and modern development frameworks.
- Solid experience in object-oriented data modeling and Java frameworks.
- Experience connecting Java applications to databases (ideally PostgreSQL).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps principles, and cloud migration strategies.
- Certification as a Java developer and software architect (preferably iSAQB).
- Strong knowledge of clean code, software patterns, and code reviews.
- Knowledge of cloud security, compliance, and governance.
- Excellent German skills (C2) and good English skills, both written and spoken.
- Proficient use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Team player with strong communication skills and a self-driven work approach.
