Description
An organization is looking for an experienced executive to drive automation and AI transformation. The goal is to analyze and optimize end-to-end processes across various business areas such as sales, procurement, order processing, and logistics. The focus is on identifying optimization opportunities, especially in areas with media breaks and manual tasks, and on developing a prioritized transformation roadmap with clear business cases and implementation recommendations.
The role includes managing automation initiatives such as ERP optimization, RPA, and low-code/no-code solutions, assessing and introducing relevant AI use cases, and building basic AI competencies within the organization. Leading internal project teams and fostering a culture of continuous improvement are also key responsibilities. Close collaboration with IT and external implementation partners is expected, reporting to senior management.
- Analyze and optimize end-to-end processes in sales, procurement, order processing, and logistics
- Identify optimization opportunities in existing processes
- Develop a transformation roadmap with business cases and implementation recommendations
- Manage automation initiatives (ERP optimization, RPA, low-code/no-code)
- Assess and introduce relevant AI use cases
- Build basic AI competency in the organization
- Lead internal project teams and promote a culture of improvement
- Collaborate with IT and external implementation partners, reporting to senior management
Requirements
- 5–8 years of professional experience, including leadership in process optimization, digitization, or transformation
- Consulting background (top-tier, boutique, or in-house) with strong methodological skills
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, MS Dynamics, etc.)
- Hands-on experience in process automation (RPA, APIs, workflows)
- Proficient in project management methods and business cases
- Hands-on mentality and strong results orientation
- Fluent German and English
