Description
A company is looking for an experienced leader to drive automation and AI transformation. The goal is to analyze and optimize end-to-end processes across various business areas such as sales, procurement, order processing, and logistics. The focus is on identifying optimization opportunities, especially in areas with media breaks and manual tasks, and creating a prioritized transformation roadmap with clear business cases and implementation recommendations.
The role includes managing automation initiatives like ERP optimization, RPA, and low-code/no-code solutions, evaluating and introducing relevant AI use cases, and building foundational AI competence in the organization. Leading internal project teams and developing a continuous improvement culture are also key responsibilities. Close collaboration with IT and external implementation partners is expected, reporting to senior management.
- Analyze and optimize end-to-end processes in sales, procurement, order processing, and logistics
- Identify optimization opportunities in existing processes
- Develop a transformation roadmap with business cases and implementation recommendations
- Manage automation initiatives (ERP optimization, RPA, low-code/no-code)
- Evaluate and introduce relevant AI use cases
- Build foundational AI competence in the organization
- Lead internal project teams and foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Collaborate with IT and external implementation partners, reporting to senior management
Requirements
- 5–8 years of professional experience, including leadership responsibility in process optimization, digitization, or transformation
- Consulting background (top-tier, boutique, or in-house) with strong methodological focus
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, MS Dynamics, etc.)
- Hands-on experience in process automation (RPA, APIs, workflows)
- Proficient in project management methods and business cases
- Hands-on mentality and clear results orientation
- Business-level German and fluent English
