Summary

Critical IT projects do not need more slides. They need leadership, structure, and people who take responsibility.

As ConsultingPiraten GmbH, we take over IT projects when they are stuck, escalating, or no project end is in sight.

Typical situations:

Deadlines slip, budgets get out of hand, or the client’s expectations are not being met. Project managers are overloaded, teams work against each other instead of with each other, and decision-makers are drawn deeper and deeper into operational IT topics, even though what they really need is leadership and results.

That is exactly when ConsultingPiraten comes into the project.

We get critical IT projects back on track and successfully completed.

Who we work for:

Our clients are often IT service providers, energy companies, public IT organizations, or companies in regulated industries. There, projects are often large, expensive, politically challenging, and operationally complex.

What we solve in practice:

We create clarity, stabilize teams, sort out escalations, and bring structure into meetings, decisions, and execution. We make sure project progress becomes visible again and that problems are not glossed over, but solved.

We are not a classic IT consultancy.

We do not come just to analyze, write concepts, or explain methods. We take responsibility in the project and actively work on solutions.

Depending on the situation, we bring together project management, program management, test management, release management, PMO, IT architecture, or crisis intervention. Not as a loose collection of individual resources, but as a well-coordinated team.

Our standard:

Less talk, more action. We take over tasks. We get things done. We bring calm to the team without softening the problems. The goal is not to stay in the project as long as possible. The goal is to complete the project successfully.

An example:

In an SAP S/4HANA transformation project, we took over overall project management during the project. The project included several clients, around 8,800 person-days, 50 internal and external employees, and more than 30 interfaces.

Result: completion on time, on budget, and with the right quality, 2 percent under budget, and a rollout without system outages.

When should we talk?

If your IT project is too important, too expensive, or too visible to keep running on hope, excuses, or internal alignment meetings.
