Project management for setting up the test and training lab (TnT lab) to simulate the Avaya Aura migration 7.1 → 8.1; ticket/incident handling and troubleshooting, line assurance, network consulting, and support with tenders and network assessments. Use of the PowerShell Active Directory module for user data cleanup / AD hygiene.

Preparation of the tender documents with a focus on risk management, seamless integration, and BSI regulations (IT baseline protection, KRITIS ordinance, BSI Act).

Led the introduction/migration of VoIP telephony for the Bavaria police (state authority / security authority); requirements and stakeholder management, rollout control and acceptance in a public-sector environment. Used the PowerShell Active Directory module to clean up user data before the VoIP rollout. Uninterrupted reachability of the authority had top priority and was maintained.

Set up and planned IP network/lab environments; lab management and technical coordination in a carrier environment.

Exclusive technical and commercial (P&L) responsibility for telecommunications software projects for national and global telecom providers; leading project teams; reporting to senior stakeholders internally and at the customer. During this time, this included the turnaround of the OSS/BSS replacement (CAIRS) for a military customer in Europe – project value US$13.5 million, awarded the US Army “Certificate of Appreciation”.

Technical presales specialist for end-to-end solutions (hardware and software); solution design and ensuring interoperability of all network and software components; responsibility for cost calculations, business cases and break-even analyses; preparation and delivery of customer presentations for mid-sized business, enterprise and carrier customers.

Setup and operation of the chair’s computer network system (UNIX workstations, Ethernet/TCP/IP, central user administration/NIS, Domain Name Service, automatic data backup); supervision of two diploma theses.
