Summary
The deep integration of artificial intelligence into the core processes of modern companies has forced a radical rethink — both in management hierarchies and in operational role models. It is not enough to roll out tools. What is missing is the bridge between strategic intent and algorithmic impact. That is exactly the role I have been filling for years: Applied Strategic AI Manager.
My job is not to train models. My job is to ask the right questions, take responsibility for the AI architecture, and shape human-machine collaboration so that it produces business output — not just activity. Three disciplines support this work: the strategic bridge between C-level and implementation level, gatekeeper for compliance (EU AI Act, GDPR, explainability), and BIAS hunter — identifying cognitive and data-related distortions before they trigger costly wrong decisions.
