AIG.digital is the subsequent program for transforming the analog and manual insurance business into a digitized and automated insurance business for the small and medium enterprise (SME), consumer, marine, transport, and financial lines segments. The program focuses on the technical and process automation of insurance business based on the BiPRO industry standard. The technical and process frameworks are built. Specifically, technical products are implemented and connected via BiPRO web services and various types of front ends to comparison portals, brokers, broker pools, aggregators, broker software, etc. The underlying fully integrated policy management system, along with the organizational processes for quote, policy, claim, cancellation, is revised as well. That means the automated incoming business must be properly processed within the organization. The necessary new organizational structures must be defined and enacted through a successful organizational change.
