Rollout Manager for Mobile Network (m/f/d)

For the infrastructure project site expansion for the White Spots project we need support in project control and further development of the methodology.

Objective: Maximize the delivery performance of implementation partners and continuously improve the applied methodology.

Scope of services:

• Ensure the planned and on-time implementation of sites for the site expansion of the ongoing White Spots project.
• Independently plan, manage and coordinate the complete site value chain.
• Independently continuously review the achieved project progress by commissioned implementation partners based on the milestones for assigned sites.
• Increase partner delivery reliability by initiating and implementing focused partner management.
• Create analyses of project progress regarding delays and derive recommendations for action to further develop the rollout management methodology concerning the project goals to be achieved.
• Independently prepare project progress and cost reports, including forecasts for management and external customers.
• Define, coordinate and initiate measures to mitigate any delays.
• Demand the necessary site documentation from the execution partner and, after verifying completeness and correctness through quality assurance, hand over the sites to the customer.
• Regular contact with authorities where building permits have been applied for, to obtain approvals ASAP.
• Single point of contact for customers until complete site handover.
• Independently manage customer queries about possible defects with the execution partner.
• Independently hand over the sites to the maintenance organization.
• Prepare comprehensive project closure documentation after reaching the budget limit and transfer the completed project to the 1&1 Deployment department.

• Work experience with rollout of radio networks/systems, in-building and tunnel radio coverage or radio and transmission systems for control centers (at least 5 years)
• Work experience in telecommunications technology and/or related fields (at least 3 years)
• Technical support of suppliers and subcontractors (at least 3 years)
• Technical detailed knowledge of system functionality and application in the specialist area
• Knowledge of processes in telecommunications technology
• Basic commercial and business management understanding
• Basic knowledge of project management tools and good knowledge of Excel
• Presentation and communication skills
• The project location is Düsseldorf. Within the project it is necessary to coordinate and hold appointments on site with the client.
