Description
The client requires a Project Manager to manage the design, implementation, testing, hypercare of a major site migration and IT transformation project. This will include coordination/guiding teams that are currently working on the topic, there are several sub components which include the renew the storage system, Firewall and the IT transformation to a new site.
Tasks:
- Creation of a project/program based on the roadmap that has realistic deliverables.
- Work independently and report to a governance board on strategic/important decisions
- Defining best practice methods for the project(s) and overseeing the implementation, design, testing and hyper care processes
- Been able to engage all stakeholders and reach consensus to provide resolute solutions
- Guiding and coordinating the definition of the transformation concepts
- Define CSFs, requirements, risk, work packages and deliverables.
- Ability to work with onsite, nearshore and offshore teams in English and German when required
- Create Technical documentation as required and maintain a knowledge base
- Deliver on time and quality.
- Assessing project risks and project quality to ensure a successful project realization.
- You are responsible for a transparent project management and for coordination with various stakeholders.
Requirements
- Solid experience in building a critical/MFG site from ground zero
- Technical background (Strong understanding of technical Infra topics) – Networking (LAN/WAN), Telephony, Cloud, Mobility solutions, Clients.
- Project management certifications and experience
- Knowledge and Experience of Infrastructure
- Knowledge and Experience of site migrations
- Strong interpersonal and intercultural Skills
