Description
Background:** Cross-functional SOx project to implement adapted and new SOx processes and controls in the legacy area of finance and technology.
Scope of Work:**
Identify optimization opportunities for control or risk gaps for SOx control/process owners and executors in the areas of: Manual Billing, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Inventory, Closure of Income Accounts, Accounting Consolidation, Accounting Closing, Technology MM, TECH-Service Operations, TECH-Common Service.
Advise SOx control/process owners and executors on implementing changed or new SOx controls.
Develop end-to-end process views, considering upstream processes and systems.
Create solution concepts for process optimizations in SOx ITGC, considering existing IT end-to-end processes, and advise on necessary steps for implementation in transformational projects (e.g., SOx project, RAITT, TechFuel, Fuel, FASTT, Fenix).
Identify potential automated controls and advise on and implement automation.
Analyze requirements for a UAT standard process and implement it.
Analyze, advise on, and enhance quality measures, especially regarding IPE compliance, and implement new standards within the existing SOx control landscape.
Implement requirements in respective projects and perform necessary tracking.
Prepare information for management decisions.
Conduct SOx trainings, tailored to the requirements of SOx control/process owners and executors.
Requirements
Technical Focus Areas:**
Detailed knowledge of operational IT and finance processes across the entire value chain
Expert knowledge of requirements for an internal control system under SOx
Solid experience in implementing SOx controls
Professional experience in IT and process project management
Must Haves:**
Experience in SOx implementation
Experience with SAP S/4HANA
Celonis (experience and certificate)
Aris (experience)
Experience with IPE compliance
Nice to Have:**
Industry expertise in telecommunications
Experience in user acceptance testing (UAT)
