Description
A company is looking for an experienced Senior Transition Manager to lead strategic and operational transition projects. The focus is on the smooth handover of services, systems, or processes in the automotive sector. Experience in the translation business is a plus. Ideally, the candidate has already worked at BMW Group and brings a deep understanding of the automotive industry. The role requires excellent C-level communication skills as well as extensive knowledge in change management and stakeholder engagement.
Main tasks:
- Strategic planning and control of transition projects, including resource, budget, and time management
- Leading interdisciplinary teams and coordinating internal and external stakeholders
- Ensuring a smooth handover of services, systems, or processes without business interruption
- Developing and implementing best practices, governance, and compliance guidelines
- Identifying and managing risks and challenges throughout the transition process
- Communicating at C-level and working closely with clients, partners, and leadership teams
- Change management & stakeholder engagement to drive acceptance and sustainable implementation
- Monitoring & reporting on transition performance and continuous process optimization
Requirements
- Proven experience leading complex transition projects, ideally in the automotive sector
- Knowledge of the translation business is a plus
- Ideally, professional experience at BMW Group or similar companies in the automotive industry
- Excellent skills in change management & stakeholder engagement
- Outstanding C-level communication skills
- Fluent English; German skills are a plus
