- Leads and coaches others on project management activities
- Applies and coaches others on risk mitigation across client projects and works with cross-functional leads to escalate as needed
- Manages P&L, POs, invoicing and BCRs
- Manages large portfolio of work while also managing projects ($2.5M+)Responsible for scope definition, budget development, resource and timeline planning
- Manages relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Partners with client services team to find efficiencies and grow the business
- Contributes to craft evolution
- Actively participates in staff planning and solutioning. Develop a succession plan for your team and yourself.
- Demonstrates awareness of multiple portfolio metrics against defined division targets, and clearly understands the impact decisions have on metrics. Is able to work with AD/EgM to quantify sales opportunities and investments to help inform business decisions
- Coaches team members on project management craft and best practices, exemplifying project management principles
- Leads, manages, and creates an inclusive environment for global, geographically distributed teams
Requirements
- Advanced communication and presentation skills
- Advanced business and financial acumen
- Exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Exceptional client service mindset, in both delivery and solutions
- Strong negotiation skills
- Proficient with project management tools and technologies, such as Microsoft Projects, Smartsheets, TFS, Jira, financial processing / tools
- Proficient in change management strategies and systems’ implementations
- Solid understanding of agency/marketing/sales environment
- Experience in digital, CRM, software development, digital/interactive and/or new media projects
- Working experience with both waterfall + agile methodologies
- Understanding of SCRUM methodology
- Post secondary Education 7+ years of project management experience or5+ agency project management experience1+ year managing / mentoring teams
- Certifications considered but not mandatory
