Description
A company is looking for an experienced consultant in the field of indoor coverage for telecommunications. The goal of the project is to independently manage and execute defined indoor coverage projects in the mobile communications environment, taking into account agreed project objectives, time, and budget constraints.
The role includes structuring, planning, and carrying out project tasks across all phases, coordinating external project participants, and liaising with property owners and mobile network operators. The consultant will work closely with the client's internal contacts to ensure information and decision-making foundations are in place and to achieve the agreed project milestones.
- Independently manage defined indoor coverage projects.
- Structure, plan, and carry out project tasks across all phases.
- Coordinate external project participants without disciplinary authority.
- Align project-related agreements with property owners and mobile network operators.
- Collaborate with the client’s internal contacts.
- Ensure project milestones are met within time and budget.
- Attend external project meetings to present project results.
- Identify and assess project risks and develop recommendations for action.
- Prepare and provide status reports for stakeholders.
- Handover project results to the client’s operational teams.
Requirements
- Degree in engineering, electrical engineering, communications engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in telecommunications or indoor coverage projects, ideally in complex infrastructure or large-scale projects.
- Solid understanding of mobile network infrastructures (e.g., indoor coverage, DAS, small cells, operator sharing).
- Proven experience in managing external service providers and internal stakeholders.
- Project management certification under PMI (e.g., PMP).
- Very structured, methodical, and independent work style.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with a confident, professional demeanor.
- Excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
