Technical Writer (m/f/d)

An organization is looking for an experienced Technical Writer responsible for creating and managing data sheets, product brochures and catalogs.

These documents are crucial for sales, legally binding, and part of internal quality assurance. The product brochures highlight the key product features and customer benefits, while the data sheets contain detailed specifications.

The role includes independently managing and overseeing all revision and review processes until final approval, as well as ensuring the defined quality and approval procedures according to company guidelines. In addition, the final data must be stored in the appropriate systems, such as the Promo-Office database, PDM and internet CMS.

• Create data sheets, product brochures and catalogs according to specifications.
• Prepare data for print production and store it in the product management system according to ISO standards.
• Manage versioned documents for print production and online publication.
• Ensure the defined quality and approval procedures.
• Store the final data in the appropriate systems.

• At least 2 years of professional experience as a Technical Writer.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering (Dipl.-Ing. ET) or comparable technical qualification.
• Ability to present technical subjects in a target-group oriented way.
• High language skills in German (style, grammar and spelling) and good English, both written and spoken.
• Solid knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Acrobat (prepress) and Word.
• Above-average attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to think in a structured way.
• Creative flair.
• Excellent communication skills.
