Description
- Advising and supporting business units and projects in all procurement requests end-to-end
- Independently negotiating terms and contracts with suppliers
- Building new supplier relationships / maintaining existing partnerships
- Contributing to the development of purchasing strategies and processes
- Supporting the continuous improvement of procedures
Requirements
- Completed (technical) university degree or certified further training in procurement
- Experienced in working across teams and projects with the goal of customer satisfaction and service quality
- Knowledge of legal requirements in procurement, preferably also in AI, cloud, technology, licensing, and sustainability
- Methodology skills, procurement expertise, and networking abilities in daily operations
- Experience in stakeholder management, tendering methods, contract types, and contract law
- Proficient with MS Office, inventory management systems, and contract management tools
- Preferably at least 5 years of procurement experience, ideally in a banking organization
- Expertise and enthusiasm in direct interaction with suppliers and internal clients
- Openness to questioning the status quo for continuous process improvement (analytical mindset)
- Strong communication skills, a reliable and solution-oriented approach to achieve customer satisfaction
