Description
An organization is looking for an experienced project planner who will handle the creation, updating, and adjustment of project structure plans as well as integration of schedule requirements from tenders and contracts. The goal is to monitor construction progress, assess risks, and ensure schedule compliance. The project planner will work closely with project management and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth project execution.
Main tasks:
- Creating, updating, and adjusting the project structure plan and project master schedule.
- Integrating schedule requirements from tenders and contracts.
- Tracking construction progress as well as changes and deliverables.
- Conducting earned value analyses (S-Curve) and defining the "value of work done".
- Preparing progress reports and schedule analyses.
- Incorporating resource planning into the schedule.
- Assessing schedule-related risks and advising risk management.
- Conducting schedule risk analyses (SRA).
- Coordinating interface milestones with project stakeholders.
- Delivering work results to meet scheduling requirements.
- Preparing and reviewing schedule-related content in tender documents and contract drafts.
- Evaluating and integrating schedules during the bidding phase.
- Obtaining and integrating regular schedule updates from contractors and suppliers.
- Monitoring contract compliance based on construction progress and deadlines.
- Ensuring the quality of schedules according to DCMA criteria.
- Performing forensic analysis of construction time extensions according to SCL Delay & Disruption Protocols.
Requirements
- Experience in creating and updating project structure plans and schedules.
- Knowledge of earned value analyses and schedule risk analyses.
- Experience in resource planning and quality assurance of schedules.
- Familiarity with DCMA criteria and Barbecana.
- Knowledge of forensic analysis of construction time extensions according to SCL Delay & Disruption Protocols.
- Ability to assess schedule-related risks and advise risk management.
- Experience coordinating interface milestones and integrating supplier schedules.
