Business Analyst - Securities Trading (m/f/d)

A company is looking for an experienced Business Analyst who will take the functional product perspective within a squad and advise the Squad Owner (Product Owner) to maximize value and continuously include customer and market perspectives. The Business Analyst will keep an eye on market requirements, coordinate with customers and partners, maintain the squad backlog, and ensure the functional quality of the results.

The position requires independent cross-departmental analysis and alignment of functional requirements directly with business units, squad owners, technical teams, and product management.

• Advising the Squad Owner on the squad's (sub-)products and services, including technical components.
• Supporting functional aspects from idea and concept through market launch and maintenance according to the life-cycle process.
• Aligning and verifying ideas and requirements as well as supporting the creation of user stories and maintaining the squad backlog.
• Shaping a customer-centered squad vision, coordinated roadmap, and release plan in line with company goals.
• Conducting innovation work and product-specific market observation to ensure competitiveness.
• Ensuring stable operations according to agreed service level agreements and regulatory requirements.
• Creating requirement specifications, documents, and service descriptions as part of product definition.
• Close coordination on architecture and refactoring topics with architecture roles.
• Ensuring the functional and non-functional quality of deliverables by creating and executing test cases.

• Experience implementing business transactions in the securities domain or similar background.
• Knowledge of process modeling and requirements engineering.
• Ability to create and describe functional documents as input for development.
• Experience with test-driven development.
• Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, and ADOIT.
