Due to the company's organizational structure, clarification of these tasks falls to department management (= decision-making).
- BIC code: The company operates two BIC codes. It was internally assumed that one BIC code was incorrect. Contact with the German Bundesbank and SWIFT regarding the continued use of two BIC codes; payments and messages are processed only via the Deutsche Bundesbank. MT940, MT101, etc. Result: Due to the size of the institution, the German Bundesbank allows the use of two BIC codes if payment runs exclusively through the Bundesbank.
- Process analysis and optimization of forfaited lease receivables, receivables write-offs. Lease receivables that had been forfaited and written off due to uncollectible receivables.
- Coordination of follow-up tasks after an M&A transaction. A leasing company was acquired, and the customer portfolio was migrated into the servicing system (parent company). Due to different system landscapes, the data quality did not meet the desired standard. In essence, migration errors (portfolio to valuations) were corrected and offset against the acquired company.
- M&A transaction: Review of a VAT refund claim due to deviations in the purchase transaction.
- Process analysis and optimization of VAT returns and reconciliations. Due to technical gaps, the reconciliations were carried out manually, which led to deviations. The main task was process automation and coaching employees regarding the related tax return.

As part of the annual financial statements, it was found that there was a delta when booking credit default swaps in the transition from HGB to IFRS. This particularly affected the booking and reversal of CDS, in connection with the accounts for provisions, EWB, impairment (IFRS), and the reversal of unused EWB on the HGB and IFRS side. The task included defining the procedure for clarifying the issue and creating a list of measures to resolve the discrepancy. Due to the importance of the topic, close coordination with department management was desired.
