Transformation and delivery executive with 19 years leading large, regulated technology programmes for Allianz, Aviva and Generali. - Data centre consolidation, Allianz (TCS, 2016–2018): joined a programme with €30M already spent and limited progress, facing a €50M penalty if the European data centres were not vacated on time. - Corporate demerger, Allianz Commercial / ARCH Insurance (msg, 2024): as IT Infrastructure Delivery Manager for Allianz Technology, delivered the infrastructure for the sale of Allianz’s North American Midcorp business to ARCH (email, SharePoint sites, employee data, IT assets, virtual clients, a secure transfer channel and a separate environment for ARCH’s IT teams) within a fixed five-month window.
- Application rationalisation: as Program Consultant and Product Owner in the worldwide virtual desktop (AVC) migration (13,000 users; 8,000 on the German platform in my scope), analysed 250+ fat-client applications and consolidated them to ~80 platforms (
68%), cutting licence, packaging (€2,000 per application) and maintenance cost. - SAFe Release Train Engineer: set up and ran a 90-person Agile Release Train of 13 Scrum teams across 42 countries with the AGCS CIO as Chief Business Owner (PI Planning, ROAM, Kanban dashboard); coached the train and supported the executive in planning and executing a €30M annual workplace budget.
- Account growth at Aviva (TCS): grew a UK insurance account from ~£0.5M to ~£15M annual revenue over three years, from taking on the portfolio to handing it to my successor, by identifying new opportunities and optimising service delivery, and personally negotiating pricing and SOWs, at project margins above 65%. My Lotus Notes roadmap consulting (2,000+ applications) led to TCS winning the portfolio for decommissioning and migration.
- Bid management and presales: Presales Head for Generali running ~100 RFI/RFPs end to end (qualification, solutioning, pricing, CFO approval, presentation), including a 9-country APAC omnichannel platform; member of the TCS bid team for the winning ~£1B, multi-year Aviva RFP (1,500 roles), leading its Application Change workstream.
- Executive trust: authored programme-status board materials that Allianz executives took into Board meetings, and led real-time crisis response during critical system cutovers, deciding what required executive escalation.
