Description
- Conduct RFPs (Request for Proposal) for technical services needs using SAP Ariba, leveraging the existing supplier base and adding new suppliers if needed, in line with internal procurement policy.
- Register and qualify vendors/suppliers in SAP Ariba based on a list of open qualifications from PowerBI, which involves instructing potential vendors/suppliers to upload required financial, compliance, and certification information.
- Create purchase orders in SAP and SAP Ariba based on approved purchase requisitions according to SAP standards and internal guidelines.
- Set up Excel contract templates for SAP and SAP Ariba, which are reviewed internally by the quality control team before release.
- Convert manually created SAP orders into automated orders, e.g. using BDN or AutoPO types. Based on an analysis of historical spend in PowerBI, make concrete proposals (including activities and timelines) to reduce procurement involvement in engineering services sourcing. Once the strategy is approved, start implementation.
