Market Intelligence Analyst Gas & Oil (m/f/d)

For our client company in the energy supply sector, we are looking for a Market Intelligence Analyst Gas & Oil (m/f/d). The project focuses on creating a market forecast for the onshore segments Drilling, Fracking and Well Servicing, as well as analyzing market and demand developments in the oil and gas sector.

• Creation of a market forecast for the subsegments Drilling, Fracking and Well Servicing in Oil & Gas focusing on onshore
• Analysis of market trends for gas and oil, regional changes in supply and demand, and geopolitical dynamics with performance needs for drilling and fracking in the USA
• Modeling quantitative market scenarios based on global developments and deriving a 3 to 5 year forecast for each subsegment
• Interface management with sales and product teams to validate findings
• Independent preparation of presentations and decision-making materials for management
• Advising on the interpretation of analysis results and their strategic relevance

• Understanding of the dynamics of the oil and gas industry and their impact on service scope
• 3–5 years of professional experience as an analyst in the oil and gas sector
• Knowledge in the upstream onshore area, especially drilling rigs, boreholes, fracking
• Solid knowledge of information sources for subsegments and regions in the oil and gas sector
• Ability to derive relevant insights from complex data sets
• Experience working with large and complex data sets
• Excellent analytical skills, creative problem-solving ability, and attention to detail
• Ability to quickly recognize relationships and explain them logically and precisely
• Very good skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Ideally, experience in the upstream onshore area
