Description

  • Planning, procurement, implementation and relocation of technical equipment and special facilities at home and abroad
  • Collaborating with purchasing to select suitable suppliers for production equipment
  • Point of contact between business unit, development and production
  • Supporting production during manufacturing (SOP + approx. 6 months)
  • Capacity planning (product-specific equipment) for new projects
  • Coordinating and carrying out equipment and process approvals (FAT & SAT)
  • Assisting quality planners in developing a quality concept
  • Creating specifications for the equipment to be procured and evaluating requirement specifications
  • Assisting in the development of a packaging concept
  • Creating and maintaining subproject plan in coordination with all relevant departments for internal use
  • Supporting R&D department in creating new, assembly-optimized products
  • Close collaboration with process development, special machine construction, assembly application technology, quality engineers, injection molding application technology and industrial engineers in the business units
  • Supervising, supporting and monitoring suppliers (internal & external) of production equipment
  • Aligning manufacturing concepts with operations
  • Participating in process development and production planning
  • Contributing to the development of FMEAs
  • Taking on special tasks
  • Assisting in the creation of the proposal concept

Requirements

  • Completed technical degree (or technician/foreman) with extensive professional experience and specialist knowledge at least in certain areas
  • Good knowledge of machine and plant construction
  • Good knowledge of production flow optimization, lean management systems, and MTM methodology
  • Good knowledge of FMEA methodology
  • Basic business administration knowledge
  • Basic skills with common IT tools (MS Office, SAP, APIS, MS Project)
  • Communication and teamwork skills, independent working style
  • Willingness to travel at home and abroad
