Description
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Configuration Management Plan; establish and track Functional, Allocated, and Product Baselines across the full program lifecycle
- Lead the Configuration Control Board and manage the full Engineering Change Request and Order process; coordinate cross-functional stakeholders for traceable change implementation
- Plan, coordinate, and carry out Functional and Physical Configuration Audits; produce Configuration Status Accounting reports with clear visibility on compliance
- Work with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to ensure smooth configuration transitions from design to production
- Continuously develop and improve internal CM processes and standards; train cross-functional teams on configuration literacy and audit risk reduction
Requirements
- Proven experience leading Configuration Management programs in aviation, aerospace, or defence
- Expertise with PLM, PDM, and ERP systems (e.g., Siemens Teamcenter, SolidWorks PDM, SAP)
- Experience leading Configuration Control Boards and managing end-to-end ECR/ECO processes in regulated environments
- Practical application of CM standards such as EIA-649, MIL-HDBK-61A, and AS9100
- Ability to bridge mechanical hardware, electronics, and software development lifecycles and maintain configuration integrity across disciplines
