Interim Senior Finance Specialist

A healthcare company is looking for support with local accounting tasks for all members of the organization.

The tasks include improving the consistency and quality of accounting processes and figures, as well as supporting and enhancing typical administrative processes for the local organization. The role will also support the Finance Manager in financial controlling and is expected to effectively and seamlessly cover for the current role holder.

• Accounting figures in closing and consolidation processes; performing the monthly VAT procedure
• Managing typical administrative processes with internal and external partners such as insurers, leasing partners, and employees
• Assisting with basic local HR administrative tasks for the central HR function

• Fluent in German, good command of English
• Strong knowledge of German HGB (IFRS is a plus but not essential)
• Hands-on experience with VAT procedures and recapitulative statements
• Vocational training in a commercial profession
• More than 5 years of accounting experience
• More than 3 years of experience in administration / office management or a similar role
• Ability and strong commitment to improve and organize tasks and processes
