Description
A company is looking for an experienced Senior Data Scientist to define and implement data-driven initiatives in marketing. The project's goal is to develop and implement machine learning and statistical models that are integrated into operational processes and data products. The focus is on optimizing data pipelines, performing strategic analyses, and ensuring data quality, governance, and compliance.
The role includes close collaboration with stakeholders and business units, and optionally mentoring internal team members.
Requirements
- Define and implement data strategy initiatives in marketing
- Develop and implement machine learning and statistical models
- Translate data analyses into concrete business recommendations
- Integrate models into operational processes and data products
- Build, automate, and optimize data pipelines
- Perform strategic analyses to support management decisions
- Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance
- Close coordination with stakeholders and business units
- Optional: Mentoring of internal team members
- Several years of experience (at least 5 years) in data analytics/BI with a marketing focus
- Strong skills in Python (data prep, analysis, machine learning)
- Excellent SQL skills, ideally with Google BigQuery or similar cloud DWHs
- Experience in marketing analytics (e.g., customer insights, campaign analysis, attribution)
- Development, validation, and deployment of machine learning models
- Experience building and operating data pipelines
- Confident use of BI tools (e.g., Power BI)
- Understanding of data governance, data quality, and best practices
- Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
- Knowledge of MLOps/deployment processes
- Experience with scalable data architectures
