Description
A company is looking for an experienced full-stack developer (m/f/d) with a focus on Java Enterprise Edition (JEE), Vaadin/Linkki, as well as Faktor-IPM and Faktor-IPS. The project goal is the development and maintenance of backend components, as well as the integration and further development of applications in the insurance environment. The developer will work closely with business and IT teams to implement technical requirements and ensure software quality through code reviews and tests.
Main tasks:
- Development and maintenance of backend components using Java Enterprise Edition (JEE)
- Integration and further development of applications based on Faktor-IPM and Faktor-IPS
- Technical implementation of requirements from the insurance domain
- Development of web UIs with Vaadin and Linkki
- Collaboration with business units and IT teams to analyze and implement functional requirements
- Conducting code reviews, automated tests, and quality assurance measures
Requirements
Requirements:
- Several years of experience in development with Java EE / JEE
- Mandatory experience with Faktor-IPM and Faktor-IPS
- Strong understanding of insurance processes and products, especially business content insurance and future process changes
- Hands-on experience with Vaadin and ideally Linkki
- Solid knowledge of working with Oracle databases (SQL, PL/SQL)
- Confident use of Maven as a build tool
- Analytical mindset, structured way of working and team player
Desirable:
- Experience in agile development processes (Scrum, Kanban)
- Knowledge in interface development (REST, SOAP)
- Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git)
