Construction Manager according to LBO - Civil and MEP (m/f/d)

An experienced construction manager (m/f/d) according to LBO - Civil and MEP is needed by a company for a major construction project in Berlin. The project aims to build a new heat generation unit to produce hot water for the district heating supply. The plant includes three gas-fired hot water boilers each with 40 MW, flue gas exhaust stack, natural gas and district heating systems, as well as pipe racks and secondary steel structures.

The construction manager (m/f/d) will be responsible for the client’s supervision of the executing contractors to ensure safe, professional, and on-schedule completion of all mechanical works on site. The position reports directly to the project manager.

Main Tasks:

• Technical advice and coordination of all site activities.
• Monitoring compliance with occupational safety and environmental regulations.
• Conducting and documenting construction meetings and project coordination meetings.
• Reviewing installation plans, work instructions, and progress reports.
• Ensuring compliance with HSSE guidelines and legal requirements.
• Creating and maintaining the site diary and reporting to project management.

• University degree in civil engineering or construction technology.
• Several years of experience as a (senior) site manager according to state building regulations, ideally LBO Berlin.
• Solid knowledge of industrial MEP, especially in heating/cooling, air conditioning/ventilation/RWA.
• Ideally experience in the construction and commissioning of gas-fired industrial energy/heat generation plants.
• Willingness to work full time on site in Berlin.
