Construction Manager according to LBO - Civil and MEP (m/f/d)

A company is looking for an experienced Construction Manager (m/f/d) according to LBO – Civil and MEP for a major construction project in Berlin. The project aims to build a new heat generation unit to produce hot water for district heating. The plant includes three gas-fired hot water boiler systems of 40 MW each, flue gas exhaust/chimney, natural gas and district heating systems, as well as pipe bridges and secondary steel structures.

The Construction Manager (m/f/d) will be responsible for the client-side supervision of the contractors to ensure a safe, professional, and on-time execution of all mechanical work on site. The position reports directly to the Project Manager.

Main tasks:

• Technical advice and coordination of all activities on site.
• Monitoring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Conducting and documenting construction meetings and project coordination meetings.
• Reviewing installation plans, work instructions, and progress reports.
• Ensuring compliance with HSSE guidelines and legal requirements.
• Creating and maintaining the site diary and reporting to the project management.

• University or technical college degree in civil engineering/structural engineering.
• Several years of experience as a (senior) Construction Manager according to state building regulations, ideally LBO Berlin.
• Solid knowledge of industrial MEP, especially in the trades of heating/cooling, air conditioning/ventilation/RWA.
• Ideally experience in the construction and commissioning of gas-fired industrial energy/heat generation plants.
• Willingness to work full-time on site in Berlin.
