Summary

In my almost 20-year career as an employee at BMW, I built up skills in a wide range of areas. As a long-time specialist buyer, I handled all purchasing-related topics such as market analyses, negotiations, requirements, supplier, and supply chain management.

During my several years as a project buyer, with the highlight being department lead in the BMW-PSA joint venture start-up "bpce", I also worked on purchasing-side process modeling, coordination, and rollout of processes, purchasing systems, control tools, and contract management.

After moving into BMW Motorrad's international sales organization, I expanded my scope to include reporting, market development, product management, market and logistics coordination, both from a tactical and strategic point of view.

As a trained industrial engineer and industrial clerk with a strong interest in technology and a hands-on mindset, I was able early on to bridge the gap between engineering and business administration and turn my ability to quickly analyze complex topics into time- and resource-saving optimization.

I always start with a thorough initial analysis, involving everyone concerned, and then work together to reach the goal effectively, efficiently, and in a socially responsible way for the company, using suitable tools such as BPMN, needs analysis, design thinking, best practices, etc.

To follow this path even more strongly, I started working as a self-employed consultant in 2019 and was already able to successfully apply and deepen my broad knowledge in several projects in the energy sector. During this time, I also worked as a trainer and coach from employee to department head level.

I also independently developed a trigger point massage device using CAD design including 3D printing, and received a German utility model for it.

In both my private and professional life, sustainability, conserving resources, environmental protection, and social commitment (e.g. as part of a parents' council and support association) are very important to me.

In my private life, my focus is mainly on family and friends as well as pursuing my hobbies.
