A company is looking for a skilled SOX Consultant with significant experience in IPO processes to support their compliance and regulatory needs. The project involves occasional travel to Switzerland and/or the US, making it essential for the consultant to be based within the EU for logistical convenience.
The role will focus on ensuring adherence to SOX requirements during an IPO process, providing expert guidance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams across different time zones.
- Develop and implement SOX compliance frameworks tailored to IPO requirements.
- Assess internal controls and identify areas of improvement.
- Collaborate with finance, legal, and operational teams to ensure compliance readiness.
- Provide training and mentorship on SOX-related matters.
- Support audits and liaise with external auditors as needed.
- Document processes and prepare reports for stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a SOX Consultant with a strong focus on IPO projects.
- In-depth knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley Act requirements.
- Familiarity with international compliance standards.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while managing occasional travel demands.
