Description
Our client in the cosmetics sector is taking over a production company that has been handling parts of the production for them and will continue to do so. The company to be acquired has run into financial difficulties and is currently in an insolvency phase. Once the insolvency is complete, the company (approx. 80 employees) will be acquired and restructured.
- Modernization of the outdated machinery
- Definition of target customers that match the production capabilities
- Cleaning up the poor inventory situation
- Overhaul of software systems that lead to too much manual and duplicate work
- Restructuring of the organizational setup, which has grown historically
- Review of existing and missing skills among managers and employees
Requirements
- Several years of experience with production and filling processes, especially to ramp up automation
- Proven ability to analyze business processes and capacity needs to align the overall organizational structure more effectively
- Experience selecting and implementing new software to integrate and modernize development, lab, materials management, production, purchasing and administrative areas
- Production-oriented "seller" (understanding of equipment, capacities, lead times, formulations) to win the right new customers
