Description
- Analysis of joint ventures, joint operations and licensing models of battery and cell manufacturers in the automotive sector
- Overview of owners’ structures and shareholding of suppliers, as well as their market shares.
- Examination of customer distributions and collaborations of battery and cell manufacturers with various OEMs.
- Analysis of factors influencing pricing through different business models and ownership structures.
- Preparation of a report with recommendations for action for the OEM to choose suitable business models.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of the automotive industry, especially in the field of e-mobility and battery/cell manufacturing, and knowledge of supply chains and OEM-supplier relationships
- Experience in analyzing and implementing various business models (joint ventures, joint operations, licensing models), especially in the technology sector and with OEM suppliers
- Technical knowledge of battery systems and cell manufacturing and their application in the automotive industry, including market trends and challenges in e-mobility
- Experience in negotiating contracts and business models, particularly regarding pricing and negotiation strategies with suppliers
- Expertise in mergers, acquisitions and strategic partnerships, especially in international contexts with Asian companies
