Argo SAP Basis Architect

A company is looking for an experienced SAP Basis architect to implement technical components in applications based on SAP S4, SAP BW4HANA, JavaScript, ABAP, SQLScript and SAP HANA-native architecture. The focus is on roles and authorizations as well as SAP Basis-related tasks.

The responsibilities include maintaining roles and authorizations in SAP ECC, using and introducing the XAMS tool, creating system documentation, communicating with technical operations management, and supporting transports and transport packages. The role also includes handling technical basis topics such as performance, parameter settings, network, and development.

• Implementation of technical components in SAP systems
• Maintenance of roles and authorizations in SAP ECC
• Introduction and use of the XAMS tool
• Creation of system documentation
• Support for transports and transport packages
• Implementation of OSS Notes
• Management of technical basis topics (performance, network, parameter settings)

Must have:

• At least 5 years of project experience as an implementation lead in maintenance for a utility company
• At least 5 project references in SAP BW on HANA, SAP UI5, SAP Mobile Apps
• Extensive and up-to-date knowledge of maintaining roles and authorizations in SAP (at least 5 years of hands-on experience)
• At least 5 years of experience in technical operations management of SAP systems (transports, network, SST architecture, monitoring, parameters)
• Experience with agile work methods (at least 3 project references)

Nice to have:

• Certification in Scrum or SAFe
• At least 1 year of experience with the XAMS tool
• Communication and moderation know-how in change projects (at least 2 project references)
• Problem-solving know-how (at least 3 years of experience)
• German language skills at C2 level or equivalent
