Description
As part of a proof of concept (PoC), it should be determined whether Exasol on STACKIT is suitable as a new analytics platform for controlling (with the frontend strategy also on STACKIT).
Tasks:
- Conduct and technically evaluate a proof of concept (PoC) to introduce Exasol on STACKIT as the new analytics platform in the controlling environment
- Analyze the suitability of Exasol in combination with frontend strategy solutions on STACKIT
- Design and implement modern cloud data warehouse architectures
- Develop and optimize complex database solutions based on Oracle and SQL Server
- Create and further develop data models (conceptual, logical, and dimensional)
- Participate in Data Vault-based architecture and integration projects
- Support the modernization and migration of legacy SQL code using modern AI-driven approaches
- Establish and optimize CI/CD processes as well as Git-based development and deployment workflows
- Collaborate with business units, architecture teams, and platform owners
Requirements
- Advanced SQL expertise with MDS databases (Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks, Exasol)
- Specialized experience in cloud DWH projects
- Specialized experience in Data Vault projects
- Specialized knowledge of Git version control and CI/CD processes
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Analysis Services MOLAP
- Basic knowledge of using agentic AI for migrating legacy SQL code
- Advanced knowledge in data modeling, conceptual and dimensional modeling
