Description
As part of a proof of concept (PoC), we need to determine whether Exasol on STACKIT is suitable as a new analytics platform for controlling (with the frontend strategy also on STACKIT).
Responsibilities:
- Conducting and technical evaluation of a proof of concept (PoC) for introducing Exasol on STACKIT as a new analytics platform in the controlling environment
- Analyzing the suitability of Exasol in combination with frontend strategy solutions on STACKIT
- Designing and implementing modern cloud data warehouse architectures
- Developing and optimizing complex database solutions based on Oracle and SQL Server
- Creating and further developing data models (conceptual, logical, and dimensional)
- Collaborating on architecture and integration projects based on Data Vault
- Supporting the modernization and migration of legacy SQL code using modern AI-powered approaches
- Building and optimizing CI/CD processes as well as Git-based development and deployment workflows
- Collaborating with business units, architecture teams, and platform owners
Requirements
- Expert knowledge in SQL and experience with MDS databases (Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks, Exasol)
- Expert experience in cloud DWH projects
- Expert experience in Data Vault projects
- Expert knowledge of Git versioning and CI/CD processes
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Analysis Services MOLAP
- Basic knowledge of using agentic AI for migrating legacy SQL code
- Advanced knowledge of data modeling, conceptual and dimensional modeling
