- Consulting services in the DaaS/AFS project (Device as a Service / Apple Financial Services)
- Consulting for P2P and order-to-cash processes
- Derivation of processes and technical requirements for the target model based on SAP RE-FX (leasing & subleasing) and the IFRS 15 engine (revenue recognition)
- Focus on contract entry, contract valuation under IFRS 16 & IFRS 15, invoicing, and development of a solution concept
- Development of technical requirements and implementation as user stories
- Specification of relevant use cases for structured UAT testing
- Execution of end-to-end testing and implementation of necessary control activities
- Development of temporary transition solutions when immediate technical implementation is not possible
- Technical consulting on detailed system implementation
- Creation and maintenance of related documentation
Requirements
Professional expertise
- Deep understanding of accounting requirements under IFRS 15 (revenue recognition) and IFRS 16 (leases)
- Experience with device-as-a-service/leasing models, especially combined with subscription/financing models
- Familiar with end-to-end processes in P2P (procure-to-pay) and OtC (order-to-cash) in connection with SAP RE-FX and revenue recognition
Technical & process know-how
- Strong knowledge of SAP RE-FX, especially in the leasing/subleasing area
- Experience with the IFRS 15 engine for revenue recognition and its integration into SAP processes
- Practice in formulating technical requirements as user stories & use cases
- Ability to develop temporary solutions when system capacity or interfaces are not yet available
Test & quality management
- Experience planning and conducting E2E tests, especially to validate regulatory requirements
- Proficient in setting up and implementing control activities in a finance process context
- Familiar with test tools and agile QA processes
Documentation & stakeholder management
- Creating audit-proof technical and functional documentation
- Experienced in communicating technical content to finance, IT, and external auditors
- Ability to translate complex processes into actionable specifications
Personal skills
- High level of self-responsibility and structured working style
- Interface skills between business, IT, and accounting
- Practical problem-solving skills in a highly regulatory environment
