Description

A company is looking for an experienced E engineer specializing in the design and development of electric motors. The project goal is to qualify an insulation system, analyze operating points, and optimize electric motors. In addition, domain knowledge in frequency converters (FC) is required to oversee tests and support the tuning of the drive system.

  • Qualification of an insulation system according to 60034-18-41
  • Analysis of electrical operating points with field weakening and efficiency
  • Optimization of electric motor laminations in terms of cost and torque density
  • Oversight of frequency converter tests for drive system tuning

Requirements

  • Experience in electric motor simulation with tools like MotorCAD and Maxwell
  • Knowledge of electric motor design, especially insulation systems
  • Expertise in qualifying insulation systems according to 60034-18-41
  • Ability to analyze electrical operating points with field weakening and efficiency
  • Experience in optimizing electric motor laminations
  • Proficiency in frequency converters and their testing
