Description
When drafting the technical specification and creating the professional training material for the domains customer management and billing, toll collection and control for toll-free emission-free vehicles, which according to the Third Act Amending Toll Regulations (November 2023) will recommence on 01.01.2026, our client needs external support. This task requires specialized knowledge in the applicable EU directives and EU implementing regulations for emission-free vehicles. The EU Commission has announced that certain EU implementing regulations relevant to the project will be redrafted in the first half of 2024. These must already be taken into account accordingly.
- Independent creation of a technical specification to account for emission-free vehicles in toll collection, control and customer management
- Independent analysis of the mentioned EU directive and EU regulations
- Presentation of the logic and functions for deriving vehicle(sub)groups and the CO2 emission class for our client, BALM and EETS providers
- Provision of examples to illustrate the logic
- Delivery of a working version (v0.5)
- Delivery of a review version (v0.9) for the target group customer management and billing (Product Owner / Business Engineer)
- Creation of an approved version (1.0) after acceptance by the Solution Manager
- Organization and conducting reviews for the versions and incorporation of changes and comments from the specialist departments
- Independent creation of professional training material and an application guide
- Targeted preparation of the necessary basic knowledge for validation based on the mentioned EU directive and EU regulations
- Description of various case scenarios and their handling in the context of validation
- Delivery of a working version (v0.5)
- Delivery of a review version (v0.9)
- Creation of an approved version (1.0) after acceptance
- Organization and conducting reviews for the versions and incorporation of changes and comments from the specialist departments
Requirements
Must Have:
- Solid knowledge of the EU road charging directive 1999/62
- Very good skills in creating technical specifications and training materials
- In-depth knowledge of the truck registration process
Nice to Have:
- Solid knowledge of customer management processes and specifically in systems for determining the emission class, the customer portal and the customer contract management system
- In-depth knowledge of the "Vehicle Classification Service" subsystem
- University degree in business informatics or a comparable field
